Greetings.

I want to take this opportunity to explain to you what the (ISC)2 Safe and Secure Online program is and how it can benefit your community organization or school.

The Center for Cyber Safety and Education (Center) is a non-profit charitable trust that aims to empower the public to secure their online life by supporting cyber security education and awareness in the community. This is in part accomplished through the Safe and Secure Online program. The Safe and Secure Online program is an initiative that brings volunteers into the community to teach cyber safety to children, parents, and senior citizens.

I am writing you today to offer my volunteer services to teach the children, parents, or senior citizens within your organization to stay safe online.

This program is perfect for schools, scouts, church groups, libraries, senior centers, and other community service organizations. Programs are available for children, parents, and seniors.

Topics covered in the children’s presentation include cyberbullying, privacy, social networking safety, and computer safety.  The children’s program runs about 30 minutes and includes interactive lessons with videos, activities, and discussion featuring Garfield & Friends.  All participants will receive a comic book, stickers, and trading cards as well as a certificate of completion.

Topics covered in the parent’s and senior’s presentation include cyberbullying, online identity and image protection, scam identification, social networking safety, and computer safety.

I am a volunteer and active community member living in Oak Lawn and would be happy to bring this amazing program to your organization. There is no cost to your organization for this program.
